The scanning engine — the same Prowler OSS and IAM Access Analyzer adapters behind Security Snapshot — is real and running today. The layer that makes Hardening Advisor different — commercial prioritization and IaC-aware remediation — is what we're actively building with our beta customers.

This isn't another alert feed

Hardening Advisor doesn't compete with AWS Security Hub's control catalog or correlation engine — it consumes Security Hub, Config, IAM Access Analyzer and Prowler as sensors and adds what none of them do on their own: deciding what to fix first, generating the actual change against your infrastructure-as-code, and keeping proof that it worked.

What 'verified' will mean here

AWS Security Hub already re-checks controls automatically. A rescan alone isn't a HardenAxis differentiator. What we're building is the full chain — finding, ticket, PR, deploy, AWS recheck, attributable to a person and an action — kept as evidence. Until that chain is real, we don't market 'verified' as done.
